Nigeria U17 coach Nduka Ugbade is delighted with the level of preparations of the Golden Eaglets for the 2023 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations in Algeria.
The age-grade tournament will take place from April 9 to May 19 with Nigeria drawn in Group B against Morocco, Zambia and South Africa.
When quizzed about the Golden Eaglets’ readiness to charge for a sixth AFCON U17 crown, Ugbade told the NFF website: “We know that some work still has to be done within the next few weeks to put the team in great form. I am happy with the level of work we have done and the kind of playing personnel at our disposal.
“I believe everything will come together beautifully and we will have a team that will do the country proud at the tournament.”
