Wilfred Ndidi and Frank Onyeka have both arrived at the Super Eagles camp in Uyo ahead of this month’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa, Afrosport reports.
The two midfielders took the number of players at Eagles’ Four Points by Sheraton Hotel base to 15, as head coach Eric Chelle and his technical team led the team’s first training session on Tuesday.
Captain William Troost-Ekong was among the early arrivals as camp opened on Monday. The 32-year-old defender has been joined by the likes of Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Ola Aina, and Moses Simon
Eight more players are expected in camp, including the likes of Stanley Nwabali, Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman and Samuel Chukwueze.
Nigeria face Rwanda on Saturday, September 6 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, before travelling to Bloemfontein to take on South Africa at the Toyota Stadium on Tuesday, September 9.
