The 13th edition of the African Games officially kicks off on Friday, March 8, in Accra, Ghana, and a number of stars will be present at the event’s opening ceremony.
Four Ghanaian music stars as well as a South African singer and dancer ate set to headline the 2023 African Games opening ceremony.

New school stars Shatta Wale and King Promise will line up alongside guitarist and composer Ebo Taylor, as well as vocalist and songwriter Pat Thomas, with Kamo Mphela, South African amapiano artiste completing the star-studded line up.

The opening ceremony of the Games, which will run from March 8 to March 23, will take place at the newly completed 11,000-capacity University of Ghana Stadium.
