Barcelona wonder kid Lamine Yamal has stated that he wants to win every available trophy including the Champions League following his feat as 2024 Golden Boy, Afrosport reports.
Yamal was unable to attend the award presentation gala in Italy as he was still recovering from the hamstring injury he sustained in Sunday’s La Liga home loss to Leganes.
However the Spaniard delivered a speech through a video link from Barcelona which they uploaded on all their social media channels.
The 17-year-old expressed his joy on winning the award as he also dropped some insight on the positive future that he dreams to have with the Catalan giants.
“Very happy I notice a lot of affection from the fans, very happy and content,” he stated.
“I imagine myself at Baraa, the club of my life. Winning all the possible titles, especially the Champions League, which every player wants to win. And thinking about winning the World Cup with the national team.”

The La Masia prodigy also stated that he wants to recover quickly and get back to the grass as soon as possible after sustaining an ankle injury that would keep him out from three to four weeks.
“Now I have to recover and come back, I want to return to my team and help.”
Yamal has scored six times and assisted 12 times in 21 appearances this season.
