Yoane Wissa says he is happy to work with Bryan Mbeumo after both men combined to hand Brentford a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, Afrosport reports.
Wissa set up Mbeumo for the Bees’ first goal before the AFCON 2023 bronze medalist scored the winner after an Ethan Pinnock own goal leveled the game for Crystal Palace.
It continued the growing chemistry between Wissa and Mbeumo who have both combined for goals on multiple occasions in a Brentford shirt.

“Even blind, I know where Bryan is,” Wissa said.
“He’s going one-on-one more, and he’ll be very happy he scored. I’m happy to work with him.”
“I’m very happy and very pleased with the performance,” he added.
“It was tough a game – it’s the first time we’ve won against them – so I’m pleased with the performance. It was a close game and it went our way.”
Reflecting on his goal, the DR Congo forward stated: “I think it’s my best goal ever. A cross from Dams, Collins shot and I followed.
“Like in training, follow, follow, follow every time. It was perfect timing. It just hit me!
“It’s difficult to stay onside, especially when you know someone is going to shoot. The keeper struggled to save it, and I am a striker so I have to sniff!”

The victory was Brentford’s first-ever competitive win over Crystal Palace. They will face another tough battle when they travel to Anfield to tackle Liverpool next Sunday.
