West Ham are set to dismiss Julien Lopetegui after just spending six months at the club, Afrosport reports.
Lopetegui joined the London club in July but has failed to create a positive impression for himself since then.
West Ham won seven, lost 10 and drew five of their 22 matches so far this season which was not enough for the club’s hierarchy after acquiring the signature of 10 players last summer.
Furthermore, Saturday’s 4-1 defeat to Manchester City was were the Hammers drew the line and embarked on the decision.
West Ham are already working on replacements with former Chelsea boss Graham Potter already looking like the most likely favorite for now.
The Hammers will be looking to embark on a new chapter and improve things as they travel to Villa Park to face Aston Villa on Friday in the FA Cup.
