‘We have to keep dreaming’ – Hudson-Odoi on Forest’s UCL ambitions

Callum Hudson-Odoi says Nottingham Forest have to keep dreaming as they aim to secure a spot in next season’s UEFA Champions League, Afrosport reports.

After avoiding relegation last season, the Midlands outfit have been one of the standout teams in the Premier League this term, winning 16 games out of 29 to currently occupy third spot.

Forest’s number of wins is the joint-second best in the league alongside Arsenal, while they have conceded 35 goals, the third lowest in the top flight behind the Gunners and leaders Liverpool.

Hudson-Odoi, who is of Ghanaian heritage, has scored five Premier League goals and provided two assists in 25 appearances in the ongoing campaign.

“This season everything has just changed – from mentality to determination,” Hudson-Odoi told BBC Sport.

“It’s just a big drive from us and we are trying to push each other every day. We know we have the ability to do this.

“We know where we are but we have to keep dreaming and believing that as a team.”

Meanwhile, Forest’s top scorer this season, Chris Wood, has been ruled out of this weekend’s FA Cup quarter-final against Brighton & Hove Albion after picking up an injury while on international duty with New Zealand.
