Rodrygo meanwhile has not has played so many minutes this season for Madrid, with only one assist to his name in Tuesday’s 5-0 win at Kairat Almaty in the UEFA Champions League.

Star forward Neymar has been excluded from the squad as he currently nurses a thigh injury while Barcelona’s Raphinha, Paris Saint-Germain’s Marquinhos, and Liverpool’s Alisson are also missing due to injury.

Brazil concluded the World Cup qualifiers by finishing in fifth place behind Argentina, Ecuador, Colombia and Uruguay.
