Rangers forward Cyriel Dessers and Remo Stars forward Sikiru Alimi will lead the Super Eagles’ attack for the crunch Unity Cup 2025 semi-final clash with rivals Ghana at the Gtech Community Stadium on Wednesday night, Afrosport reports.
Dessers is making his first start for the national team since March last year in friendlies against the Black Stars and Mali, while it is a first-ever start for NPFL star Alimi.
Playing off the duo is AC Milan attacker Samuel Chukwueze while the midfield consists of Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi, Brentford loanee Frank Onyeka and Niger Tornadoes’ Papa Daniel Mustapha.
The defence is made up of Remo Stars’ Ismaila Sodiq at right back, Semi Ajayi and Igoh Ogbu at centre-back, and Bruno Onyemaechi at left-back.
Chippa United goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali maintains his spot between the goalposts.
