Nottingham Forest were paired with Turkish giants Fenerbahce in the UEFA Europa knockout playoffs during Friday’s draw ceremony, Afrosport reports.
Forest failed to finish in the top eight in the league phase, ending up in 13th while Fenerbahce ended up in 19th.
In other fixtures, Scottish giants Celtic will face Stuttgart, Celta Vigo take on PAOK, Lille battle Red Star Belgrade and Viktoria Plzen tackle Greek giants Panathinakos.
Hungarian side Ferencvaros take on Bulgarian outfit Ludogorets, Italian Serie A side Bologna face Brann of Norway and Genk lock horns with Dinamo Zagreb.
The first legs of the knockout play-offs will take place on February 19 and the second leg February 26. The eight winners of the knockout from this round will progress to the round of 16 and will be drawn against the top eight finishers from the league phase.
