Ademola Lookman and his Atalanta side have been drawn against Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League round of 16 draw that took place in Nyon, Switzerland, on Friday.
The Italian side will make the trip to the Jose Alvalade Stadium in Lisbon for the first leg, which takes place on Tuesday, March 5. Sporting beat Young Boys 4-1 on aggregate after playing out a 1-1 stalemate in the knockout playoffs on Thursday night.
The other matches in the draws will see Premier League leaders Liverpool up against Sparta Prague, who saw off Galatasaray 6-4 on aggregate after a comfortable 4-1 thrashing of the Turkish side at the epet ARENA in Czech Republic.

The Europa League’s all-time top scorer, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, will look to lead his Marseille side to the quarterfinals of the tournament but they will have to contend with Spanish outfit Villarreal in the round of 16; and Roma, who needed the heroics of young goalkeeper Mile Svilar to thank for the passage into this stage, were drawn against Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion.
Portuguese heavyweights Benfica were drawn against Rangers; Freiburg and West Ham will rekindle their rivalry from last season as the two teams have been drawn against each other once again; Italian giants AC Milan will tackle Slavia Prague; and high-flying German side Bayer Leverkusen will tee up against Qarabag for a place in the last eight.
