Abiodun Ogunniyi was on target as FK Auda defeated Cliftonville FC 2-1 on Wednesday in their second leg, second qualifying round in the Europa Conference League.
The former Sunshine Stars man brilliantly dribbled pass a defender in the box, before a lovely execution in the 51st minute to open the scoring for the Latvian side.

Another Nigerian, Abdulrahman Taiwo got Auda’s second goal as they won 4-1 on aggregate to move on to the next round.
Ogunniyi was also on target in the 2-1 victory in the first leg at the Solitude stadium in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

He has now scored twice and has registered two assists in his last two games.
The 22-year-old has featured for Nigeria at the U-23 level, but is yet to debut for the Super Eagles.
Abiodun Ogunniyi was on target when the country’s U-23 team defeated Tanzania 2-0 in the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in October 2022.
