The 26-year-old completed a blockbuster €75 million permanent transfer from Napoli after last season’s successful loan spell, which saw Gala win a 25th Super Lig title and qualify automatically for the league phase.

Osimhen opened his season account in a 4-0 league win away at Kayserispor at the weekend and will have a chance to show his quality among Europe’s elite.

Galatasaray were seeded in pot four during the draw and have home ties against Liverpool, Atletico Madrid, AS Monaco and Bodo/Glimt, while they will travel to play Manchester City, Eintracht Frankfurt, Ajax and Union Saint-Gilloise.
