Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique says he is motivated to make history with the French giants when they take on Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League final in Munich on Saturday night, Afrosport reports.
PSG are back in the final for the first time since 2020 and for only the second time in their history.
They have gotten through this season’s revamped tournament by getting results over the likes of English giants Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal.
The Parisians’ improved style of play under Enrique has won a lot of plaudits, and the Spaniard hopes things will tilt in their favour this time.
“To tell you the truth, my main motivation is to make history in Paris,” the former Barcelona coach said.
“That would mean to give happiness to a country, a city and an exceptional club. The rest is a part of my journey.
“I feel lucky to be here and play this match. We will do everything we can for our fans.”

PSG could complete a historic treble if they win the Champions League, having lifted a 13th Ligue 1 title and a 16th Coupe de France.
