Samuel Chukwueze scored his first goal in the colours of AC Milan but it was not enough as they suffered a 3-1 loss to Borussia Dortmund at the San Siro in Tuesday night’s UEFA Champions League Group F action.
The Rossoneri started the game brightly and were awarded a penalty in the sixth minute after Chukwueze’s close range shot was blocked by Nico Schlotterbeck. Veteran French striker Olivier Giroud however had his effort saved by Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel. The opportunity proved costly as Marco Reus handed Dortmund the lead four minutes later from the penalty spot.
Chukwueze’s moment for his first Milan goal came in the 37th minute when he drilled in a fierce strike that took a deflection on its way in to level the game going into the halftime break.

Dortmund took control of the second half as they added two more goals courtesy of Jamie Bynoe-Gittens and German-Nigerian forward Karim Adeyemi to take all three points and move to the top of Group F.
Milan will conclude their group stage campaign against Newcastle United who drew 1-1 with Paris Saint-Germain in the other simultaneous Group F game.
