The road to Paris 2024 Olympic Games begins in November 2023 with eight teams set to vie for the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The group stage draw will take place at the Mohammed VI Technical Centre in Rabat and it will be shown be LIVE on Afrosport TV by 4pm (West African Time) and across all CAF digital platforms.
The AFCON U23 is for players below 23 years of age and starts from June 24 to July 8.

Morocco – Host, Egypt, Niger, Guinea, Congo, Ghana, Mali and Gabon.

Most successful Teams
Africa U-23 Cup of Nations started in 2011 with Gabon winning the maiden edition followed by Nigeria in 2015 and then Egypt who lifted the trophy back on home soil in 2019.
Countries with the most appearance
Egypt have played in every edition of the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations and they will be making their fourth appearance in Morocco.
Nigeria and South Africa are missing out for the first time while Congo, Guinea, and Niger Republic will be making their debut appearance in the competition.
