Key Players to watch for

Tommaso Baldanzi (Italy): The 20-year-old midfielder plays for Empoli in the Italian Serie A where he scored four goals in 26 matches this season. His mesmerising play from the middle could be a threat for Ladan Bosso’s team.

Cesare Casadei (Italy): The Chelsea youngster was the hero in Italy’s opening game as his brace powered the Europeans to a 3-2 win against Brazil in Group D. Casadai spent the second-half of the 2022-23 season on loan at Reading where he returned a goal in 15 Championship games.

Victor Eletu (Nigeria): The AC Milan youth star came off the bench against the Dominican Republic in the 71st minute and his influence on the team can not be underestimated.

Abel Ogwuche (Nigeria): The Trelleborg centre-back is a commanding force in Bosso’s team and his fine defensive qualities could be crucial to neutralise the Italians’ attack.
