Nigeria have been drawn in Group B of the upcoming U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Algeria.
The Golden Eaglets will face North African side Morocco, South Africa, and the Junior Chipolopolo of Zambia, with all their group matches to be played at the 23-000 capacity Mohamed Hamlaoui Stadium in Constatine.
The draws for the 2023 under-17 Africa Cup of Nations took place earlier today at the Cercle National de l’Armée in Algiers, the capital city of Algeria.
In Group A, host Algeria will battle with Senegal, Congo, and Somalia, with all matches set to be played at the newly renamed Nelson Mandela Stadium in Algiers.
The final group, Group C, dubbed ‘the group of death’, will see two-time winners Cameroon and Mali, 2011 champion Burkina Faso, and debutant South Sudan all fight for a spot in the next round while playing all their matches at the historic May 19th Stadium in Annaba.

The 15th edition of the tournament will commence on Saturday, April 29, and end on Friday, May 19, with the last four teams booking a place at the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Peru in November.
Nigeria qualified for the tournament after winning the WAFU Zone B tournament held last year in Ghana with a 2-1 win over Burkina Faso in the final.
All matches in the competition will be broadcast live on Afrosport TV.
