The Confederation of African Football (CAF) have appointed Egyptian Ahmed Nagy Mosa as the centre referee for the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final clash between Nigeria and Uganda at the Suez Canal Stadium by 6pm on Thursday.
Mosa will be supported by his countrymen Mohamed Abouzid Halhal and Yara Atef as the first and second assistant referees, respectively, while Libyan Abdulrazg Ahmed will act as the fourth official.
Zambian Justin Mumba will be the match commissioner, while Beninoise Rosalie N’dah will be the referee assessor and Namibian Titus Kunamuene as the general coordinator.
The Flying Eagles trained on Wednesday ahead of Thursday’s clash in Ismaila with sights set on progressing to the semifinals and simultaneously booking their 13th appearance at the U-20 FIFA World Cup, which will be held in Indonesia in May.
Ladan Bosso’s boys finished second in Group A behind Teranga Lions of Senegal and ahead of hosts Egypt and Mozambique. Meanwhile, Uganda ended Group B tied on five points and the same goal difference with Congo, but they finished top after a draw of lots.

Other U-20 AFCON quarter-final fixtures will see Senegal tackle Benin on Thursday while Gambia and Congo will take on South Sudan and Tunisia on Friday respectively.
