Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets will know their group opponents for the 15th edition of the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations on Wednesday, February 1.
CAF revealed in a press release that the final draw for the tournament will take place at the Cercle National de l’Armée in Algiers, Algeria this week at 12pm WAT and will be broadcast live on Afrosport TV.
12 teams, including hosts Algeria and two-time winners Nigeria, will battle it out for the honour of representing Africa at the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Peru in November.

The tournament will be held across three venues in the three Algerian cities of Algiers, Constantine, and Annaba, from April 29 to May 19.
The Golden Eaglets qualified for the 2023 U-17 AFCON after winning the WAFU Zone B tournament held last year in Ghana, with a 2-1 win over Burkina Faso in the final.
