Two title fights headline stacked 10-bout card at EFC 120

EFC: Intense weigh-ins set tone for crunch bouts in EFC 120

20 fighters are on hand to battle in the final EFC event of the year with EFC 120 showdown set for the World sports Betting Arena in Johannesburg on Thursday.

The stacked 10-bout card is headlined by two title fights with the welterweight and lightweight belts up for grabs.

Current middleweight champion Luke Michael will challenge Zaakir Badat for the welterweight title in the EFC 120 main event with the hopes of making history as one of the sport’s double champions. Badat, on the other hand, goes head to head with Michael in his very first title defence

In the co-main event, current double champion Igeu Kabesa will defend one of his belts in a lightweight championship bout against former training partner Martin Van Staden, who recently made a return to the hexagon.

Other fights on the main card will see Musa Sethwape tackle Shannon Van Tonder in a bantamweight bout; South African Ntando Zondi is up against compatriot Sibusiso Sovendle, while a featherweight matchup is on the cards for Ken Sekeletu and Vince Bembe.
