Egypt forward Trezeguet was in top form as he found the back of the net twice in Trabzonspor’s 4-1 Turkish Super Lig win over Fatih Karagumruk on Monday.
The Black Sea Storm recorded four defeats in their last six games including the previous 3-1 loss at giants Fenerbahce.
The Trabzon-based outfit however got things off at the Akyazi Stadium in commanding fashion with former Barcelona defender Marc Bartra netting in the eighth minute.
Senegal forward Mbaye Diagne equalised six minutes later for Fatih Karagumruk but it did not take too long for Trabzonspor to restore their lead as Ahmet Sen put the ball in his own net.
Trezeguet made it 3-1 with a thunderous long range strike in the 35th minute before completing his brace in the 51st minute with a composed finish after receiving a fine pass from Abdulkadir Omur.

The Egyptian’s brace took his league tally this season to 10 goals in 26 games.
The result moves Trabzonspor up to sixth on the table with three matches left to wrap up the season.
