Tottenham Hotspur have opened talks with Liverpool with the aim of singing Andy Robertson, Afrosport reports.
The 31-year-old Scottish left-back’s contract at Anfield will expire at the end of the season and has only started four Premier League games this term, losing his place to summer signing Milos Kerkez.
The Reds signed Robertson from Hull City for £8 million in 2017 and he has made 363 appearances for the club, winning nine titles including two Premier Leagues and the UEFA Champions League.
Tottenham have completed the signing of Brazilian left-back Souza from Santos and have Italian-Nigerian Destiny Udogie as another option.
Spurs have already signing Conor Gallagher from Atletico Madrid during the January transfer window as they aim to improve their Premier League form where they current sit in 14th place.
