Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni has been ruled out of his side’s UEFA Champions League final against German heavyweights Borussia Dortmund.
The France international will not be in action for the Spanish champions at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, June 1, due to a foot injury that could also rule him out of the upcoming European Championships.

The 24-year-old former Monaco man suffered a stress fracture in his foot during Real Madrid’s Champions League semi-final second leg 2-1 win over Bayern Munich earlier in May.
The news of Tchouameni’s absence from the final was revealed by Los Blancos manager Carlo Ancelotti, who confirmed the Frenchman will miss the tie but is in a battle against time to be fit for the Euro 2024 slated to begin on June 14 in Germany.
“He is doing individual work, but he is not ready for the final,” the Italian said. “Let’s see if he’s ready for the Euros.”
Tchouameni, who has been selected by France national team coach Didier Deschamps for their Euros squad, has played 38 times for Madrid across all competitions this season, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
