WAFU B U17 Girls’ Cup: Flamingos beat Benin to set up final clash against hosts Ghana
Nigeria’s U17 women’s team, the Flamingos, moved one step closer to claiming the inaugural WAFU B U17 Girls’ Cup following a 2-0 win over Benin Republic in the semi-finals on Wednesday, Afrosport reports. The Flamingos, led by coach Bankole Olowookere, saw off Benin courtesy of two second-half goals inside the Ghana Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
