Aston Villa on Tuesday announced the signing of Spanish defender Andres Garcia from Levante for an undisclosed fee, Afrosport reports.
Garcia, who plays mainly as a right-back, has been in good form for Levante in the Spanish Segunda Division this season with three goals and three assists in 22 league appearances.
The 21-year-old becomes Villa’s second signing of the January transfer window following the arrival of Dutch forward Donyell Malen from Borussia Dortmund.

Unai Emery’s men are eighth in the Premier League with 36 points after 22 matches and fifth in the Champions League standings with 13 points.
They are, however, in action against Monaco on Tuesday at the Stade Louis II as they continue to push for one of the eight automatic knockout spots in the new 36-team Champions League format.
