Spain international Marco Asensio on Monday completed a short-term loan move to Aston Villa from Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain, Afrosport reports.
Asensio becomes the fourth signing at Villa Park this month, adding to the arrivals of Donyell Malen, Andres Garcia, and English forward Marcus Rashford, who also arrived on loan from Manchester United.
“Excited to start this new chapter at @AVFCOfficial,” he wrote on X. “Grateful for the confidence and looking forward to seeing you all at Villa Park.”
The 29-year-old joined PSG on a free transfer in 2023 and has scored seven goals and provided 11 assists for the French champions in 47 matches across all competitions.
Asensio, a three-time Champions League winner during his time at Real Madrid, has won 20 titles at club level, including winning Ligue 1 with PSG last season.

Villa are currently eighth in the Premier League, six points adrift of the top four as they continue to battle for a place in Europe’s elite competition next season.
Unai Emery’s men have also booked their spot in the last 16 of the Champions League, having picked up the final automatic ticket with their eighth-place finish in the league phase.
