In other fixtures, Genoa defeated Udinese 2-0 at the Dacia Arena, Lazio suffered a shock 3-1 defeat to Parma at the Tardini, while Juventus were forced to a 1-1 draw at Lecce.
The star fixture of the round between Fiorentina and Inter Milan was abandoned in the 17th minute when Fiorentina midfielder, Edoardo Bove collapsed.
