Napoli temporarily returned to the summit of the Serie A standings on Saturday following a 2-1 win against Genoa at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium, Afrosport reports.
First-half goals from Cameroon international Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa and Amir Rrahmani in the 15th and 23rd minutes gave Antonio Conte’s side a comfortable lead going into the break.
The hosts, however, put themselves back in contention as Andrea Pinamonti pulled one back in the 51st minute after brilliant work by Vitor Oliveira, who won possession and set up the Italian forward.

The win helped Napoli reclaim the top spot with 38 points, one more than second-placed Atalanta, who hosts Empoli on Sunday, while Genoa occupy the 13th spot.
Fourth-placed Lazio bounced back from Monday’s heavy defeat to Inter Milan by overcoming 10-man Lecce 2-1 thanks to an 87th-minute strike from substitute Adam Marusic, who scored after just three minutes on the pitch.
