Italian defender Davide Zappacosta put Atalanta in front in the 18th minute in Bergamo as the hosts entered the halftime break with a lone goal lead.
The second half served up huge surprise as Como scored three goals with 12 minute to sit comfortably in a 3-1 lead. The first came from 27-year-old Brazilian forward Gabriel Strefezza inside the first minute of the restart.
Fabregas’ men completed their comeback in the 54th minute as they got their second via an own goal from former Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac, who turned the ball into his own net. They completed added a third four minutes later through Gambia international Alieu Fadera, who opened his account for the season.
Lookman came on in the 55th minute for Italian striker Mateo Retegui and the Nigerian got on the scoresheet in the 99th after converting a penalty kick.
The win was a monumental one for the visitors, who won a Serie A match for the first time in exactly 21 years and four months to their last victory in the Italian top-flight.
