Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola hopes Antoine Semenyo maintains his form when he returns from the international break following his impact in the Cherries’ epic comeback against Luton Town in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
The Cherries were down 3-0 to the Hatters at half time at the Vitality Stadium but staged a comeback in the second half with Semenyo levelling the game for 3-3 in the 64th minute before netting the winner seven minutes from time.
It took Semenyo up to seven goals in the Premier League this season, making him the highest scoring Ghanaian this term.
He will now join up with the Black Stars for their international friendlies against Nigeria and Uganda before retuning back to league action at home to Everton on March 30.

“He has had more chances in the first half, second half,” Iraola told Bournemouth Daily Echo.
“He hasn’t finished them, but he has been a threat.
“The other day, the last games I think he has been playing really well.
“Now he will go with the national team, but I hope we can keep him with this form and he can finish the season strong.”
Semenyo reacting to his heroic effort told the BBC Sport: “It’s unreal. It is an achievement of mine just playing in the Premier League so to get a winning goal for the team, I’m buzzing.”
