Mohamed Salah has set a record for most Premier League Player of the Month awards after he was named the winner for February, Afrosport reports.
The Egyptian superstar was in scintillating form during the month, scoring six goals and providing four assists as Liverpool extended their lead at the top of the table.
Overall, Salah has 27 goals and 17 assists which puts him atop the goalscorer and assist charts.
The 32-year-old has now won seven Player of the Month awards which sees him tied with former Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero and former Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane.

Meanwhile, David Moyes won the Manager of the Month award after leading Everton unbeaten in February with two wins and three draws which saw them further strengthen their survival hopes.
It also marked exactly 23 years to the day Moyes won his first Manager of the Month award.

Also, Kaoru Mitoma’s brilliant strike in a 3-0 win over Chelsea on Valentine’s Day won the Goal of the Month while a save by Bournemouth goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga against Wolverhampton Wanderers won the Save of the Month.
