Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has asserted that head coach Arne Slot has already outdone his expectations at Anfield, Afrosport reports.
Slot joined Liverpool from Fenynoord last summer following the departure of Jurgen Klopp.
The Dutchman was expected to need time for adaptation but has groomed his side to be the best team in Europe currently as they are looking perfectly balanced.
The Reds are currently on top of both the Premier League and Champions League standings, often winning games for fun this season.
Salah has nothing but praises for his manager as he emphasised on his humility and and his ability to pay attention to details and not take things for granted coupled with his tactical brilliance.
“Before I worked with Arne Slot, I didn’t expect he was this good… then we started working and I’m not surprised at all!,” Salah told TNT Sport.
“He’s great with details, great with small things, doesn’t have ego when he makes a mistake… he’s great on tactics.”
Salah has been a pivotal part of his team’s success this season having netted 20 goals and provided 17 assists in 26 appearances for the English giants.
He will be in action once more as Liverpool host struggling Manchester United on Sunday at Anfield.
