Rivers Angels were crowned Federation Cup champions for the ninth time after beating Naija Ratels FC 1-0 in the final at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos.
Blessing Okpe scored the only goal of the game, from the penalty spot in the 44th minute.
Rivers Angels’ triumph follows previous consecutive success from 2010 to 2014 and from 2016 to 2018.

Evans Ogbonda’s team were rewarded with a cash prize of ₦25 million while runners-up Naija Ratels received ₦10 million.
Goalscorer on the day, Blessing Okpe won the Most Valuable Player, (MVP) award, while Rivers shot stopper Agatha Thompson won the goalkeeper of the tournament award.
