Morocco head coach Walid Regraguo has called up Real Madrid duo Brahim Diaz and Youssef Lekhedim for their friendly games against Angola and Mauritania this March.
Diaz who was born in Spain, previously played for European country’s national team in a friendly before pledging his allegiance to Morocco in 2023.

The 24-year-old is joined Real Madrid’s Castilla teenager Youssef Lekhedim who also received his maiden invitation to the Atlas Lions set-up.
AS Monaco midfielder Eliesse Ben Seghir is the other new player who could make his international debut for Morocco in the upcoming friendly games.
Notable players who made the selection include Ayoub El Kaabi, and Youssef En-Nesyri, Achraf Hakimi, Nayef Aguerd, Hakim Ziyech and Yassine Bounou while Valencia’s Selim Amallah and Marseille’s Amine Harit were dropped.
Morocco will first host Angola in Agadir on March 22 before welcoming Mauritania to the same city, four days later.
