Brazil international Raphinha on Thursday signed a contract extension with La Liga champions Barcelona until 2028, Afrosport reports.
Raphinha, whose initial deal with the Catalan club was set to expire in 2027, has penned a new one-year deal after enjoying the best season of his career yet.
“It’s something very special, and feeling part of the Barca family for another year makes me feel very happy,” said Raphinha.
“I’ve told my family before that my dream is to be here until the end of my career and I hope to be able to do so but at my best level.”
Living the dream.

The 28-year-old has 34 goals and 25 assists in 56 matches in all competitions this season as Barcelona claimed a domestic treble, adding the Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup to their La Liga triumph.
The Brazilian, who moved to Spain from Leeds United in 2022 and scored 20 goals and provided 25 assists in his first two seasons combined, has turned his fortunes around and is one of the leading candidates for the 2025 Ballon d’Or.
He is the joint top scorer in the Champions League this season with 13 goals and nine assists in 14 games en route to Barcelona’s semifinal elimination at the hands of Inter Milan.
The former Rennes and Sporting forward joins head coach Hansi Flick as the newest member of the team to sign a contract extension after the German tactician agreed to a new deal until 2027 on Wednesday.
Raphinha will be hoping to add to his goal margin when Barcelona tackles Athletic Club at San Mames in their final game of the season on Sunday.
