Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is not happy with his teammates defending after they conceded three goals in their 6-3 triumph at Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, Afrosport reports.
After being held to a draw last week by Fulham, Liverpool got back to winning ways against Tottenham, courtesy of a brace from Salah and Luis Diaz as well as one each from Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai.

Liverpool, however, have now conceded six goals in their last three matches in all competitions, and Salah, who praised the Reds’ fearless attack, wants them to do better defensively.
“We were pretty good in attack, but defensively, I think we need to improve as a team, not just individually,” Salah said in his post-match analysis.
“We conceded three goals, and that’s tough. Virgil van Dijk, Alisson, and I discussed this. It’s a good result, and hopefully, we’ll keep it going.
“I think we anticipated how they would play, how they would open up and enjoy their football. As you can see, the game was physically and mentally challenging; you need to stay focused all the time. I’m happy we managed to win the game.”
The Egyptian also provided two assists in the win against Spurs, and made history as he became the first player in Premier League history to reach double figures for both goals and assists before Christmas.
“Honestly, I didn’t think about the record before the game, but I’m glad I achieved it. It makes me happy. I’m proud of it and will continue to work hard.” the 32-year-old, who has scored 15 goals and provided 11 assists in the Premier League this season, said.
Salah and Liverpool will now shift their attention to the next game, where they will take on Leicester City at Anfield on Boxing Day.
