Arsenal took a trip to the other side of London when they claimed a resounding 5-2 win over West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday, Afrosport reports.
The Hammers’ downfall began in the 10th minute when Gabriel Magalhaes scored the header from a corner kick. A few minutes later, Leonardo Trossard made it 2-0.
Martin Odegaard took the chance to convert from the spot in the 34th minute and two minutes later, it was Kai Havertz who made it four as the Gunners were absolutely crushing West Ham.
Julien Lopetegui’s men were not going to remain silent for long as Aaron Wan Bissaka got one back to give Hammers fans hope.
Emerson scored a direct free kick in the 40th minute, which made more and more fans think there was a possibility for a come back, but a Bukayo Saka goal in the dying minutes of the first half made it 5-2.
There were no goals in the second half as Arsenal rose to second on the table tentatively.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United shared the spoils as they played out a 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park. A Marc Guehi own goal gave the Magpies the lead before a Daniel Munoz late equaliser levelled things.
Facundo Buonanotte opened the scoring in Leicester City’s clash with Brentford but a hat-trick by Kevin Schade after DR Congo’s Yoane Wissa made it level gave Brentford a 4-1 win.
Nothing could separate Brighton & Hove Albion and Southampton as goals by Karou Mitoma and Flynn Downes saw both sides earn a 1-1 draw.
