Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino is set to end his eight-year association with the Merseyside outfit when his contract expires at the end of the season.
The 31-year-old Brazilian moved to Anfield from German Bundesliga club Hoffenheim in the summer of 2015 and has gone on to make 353 appearances for the club, scoring 107 goals and providing 70 assists.
He is widely known for his dynamic partnership in attack with Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, the trio instrumental in landing Liverpool’s first league title in 30 years in 2020 as well as the UEFA Champions League, FA Cup, EFL Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.
Reds manager Jurgen Klopp has previously stated he wanted Firmino to stay with discussions over a new deal held but according to reports, Firmino has chosen not to renew.

It comes as he has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield this season following the arrival of Darwin Nunez last summer.
Firmino had also been out since December due to injury but has come off the bench in Liverpool’s last four league matches, including Wednesday’s 2-0 Premier League home win over Wolverhampton Wanderers which pushed them up to sixth on the table ahead of Sunday’s crunch tie against fierce rivals Manchester United.
