Coach Randy Waldrum has released a list of 18 Super Falcons players that will represent Nigeria at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The nine-time African Champions are making their return to the Olympics for the first time in 16 years and will take on Brazil, Spain and Japan in the Group C.
Captain Rasheedat Ajibade and forwards Asisat Oshoala and Esther Okoronkwo, have been invited alongside Uchenna Kanu, Chiwendu Ihezuo and Chinonyerem Macleans.
In the midfield, United States-based Deborah Abiodun has been called up alongside Halimatu Ayinde, Christy Ucheibe, Jennifer Echegini and Toni Payne.
In the defence, coach Waldrum extended invitation to Osinachi Ohale, Oluwatosin Demehin, Michelle Alozie, Nicole Payne and Chidinma Okeke.
Goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie will be joined in that department by Tochukwu Oluehi.
The team is scheduled to depart Nigeria for Spain on Thursday where they will camp for two weeks before heading to Paris.
