Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has won the Serie A goal of the month award for January.
The 24-year-old’s wonderful strike in Napoli’s 2-1 win over AS Roma last Sunday received the most votes from Italian football fans.

Osimhen has been in sizzling form this season, with 14 goals and three assists in 16 games. He scored five goals across five matches in January, but his strike against the Giallorossi was the most impressive of his goals.
The former Wolfsburg striker brought down a cross from teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia on his chest before juggling it on his knee and firing a thunderous strike past Rui Patricio in goal.
Napoli are the leaders in Serie A with 53 points, 13 ahead of their closest opponent, Inter Milan, on 40 points.
The Partenopei will travel to the Alberto Picco Stadium next to face the struggling Spezia on Sunday.
