Napoli are reportedly considering a deal with Manchester United that would see Rasmus Hojlund join the Serie A outfit in exchange for Victor Osimhen, Afrosport reports.
The Nigeria international is currently on loan at Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray and Napoli are looking to offload him permanently in the summer.
Man United are one of several clubs interested in acquiring his services and according to Calciomercato, the Red Devils are ready to offer Hojlund as part of a player-plus-cash exchange deal offer for Osimhen.
The Denmark forward is reportedly not going to be part of United coach Ruben Amorim’s plans for next season after struggling for goals this season with just two in 22 Premier League games so far.
Napoli are also reportedly interested in Joshua Zirkzee, but United have a preference for letting go of Hojlund.
United purchased Hojlund from Atalanta in the summer of 2023 for £72 million. He played 34 times in all competitions for the Bergamo outfit, scoring 10 goals and providing four assists.
The Partenopei are looking to make a marquee signing after losing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia during the January transfer window and will also look to appease manager Antonio Conte who was unhappy over a lack of transfer activity in the winter which has seen them lose their grip in the Serie A standings and are now one point behind Inter Milan.
