UCL: Real Madrid face Benfica again in knockout playoff

Oscar Bobb has joined Fulhamfrom Manchester City for a reported fee of £27 million, Afrosport reports.

The 22-year-old Norwegian of Sierra Leone heritage, moves to Craven Cottage on a five-and-a-half-year deal, with a reported 20% sell-on clause.

Bobb is a graduate of Man City’s youth academy, and made his first team debut ironically against Fulham in a league game in September 2023 that ended 5-1.

He played 47 times for the Citizens in all competitions, scoring three goals and providing four assists. He won a total of four titles at the Etihad Stadium, including the league in 2024.

He however failed to be a regular starter and sought for more game time elsewhere and was convinced by his compatriot Sander Berge to move to West London.

“It feels great to be here. I had a great day meeting everyone and I am very excited,” he told the club website.

“I have always known Fulham to be a good club, with good players and a great stadium.

“I spoke to Sander, my good friend, and I spoke to the Manager, and he explained what the system’s like, and how the lads are, and how the club is. He seemed lovely, so it was an easy decision basically.”

Bobb could be handed his Fulham debut when the Cottagers travel to Old Trafford on Sunday to face Manchester United.
