Nigeria’s Omotosho Samson Kayode won the silver medal at the ongoing 2nd African Skate Games in Cairo, Egypt.
The skater represented Nigeria in the inline freestyle skating event yesterday, finishing second in front of a massive crowd that included the president and secretary of the International Skating Union.
In his debut appearance at the event, the athlete fulfilled his hope of a podium finish, leading Nigeria to second place among 15 other countries that participated in the event.
Omotosho is expected back inLagos when the games end on Sunday, December 11.
