Michael Olise and Cheick Doucoure were big winners at Crystal Palace end-of-season awards ceremony on Wednesday night.
Olise won the Goal of the Season, Moment of the Season, and Players’ Player of the Season awards to put an end to what has been an incredible individual season for him, while Doucoure was voted as the club’s Player of the Season.
Olise’s free-kick late in the game against Manchester United at Selhurst Park in January was voted the team’s best goal of the season. The Palace No. 7 curled in a stunning left-footed hit past David Degea to earn his side a point.

His 94th-minute strike against West Ham at the London Stadium in November 2022 was the Eagles’ moment of the season. The youngster got the ball on the right before moving in and unleashing a left-footed curler into the far corner.
FK perfection.

After he was presented with the award by teammate Eberechi Eze at the Clapham Grand, he expressed his excitement and thanked his teammates for the honour.
He said: “This award is special because I train with these guys every day and I work with them, so I’m grateful to them.”
Olise has two goals and ten assists for Palace this season, becoming the first-ever Eagles player to record double digits for assists in a single Premier League season. His 10 assists keep him at joint fourth in the league rankings, behind Kevin De Bruyne (16), Bukayo Saka, and Mohamed Salah, who are both on 11.
His quartet of assists in Palace’s 5-1 win over Leeds United in April made him the youngest player to achieve such a feat.

Likewise, Doucoure won the Player of the Season award to crown an outstanding first season at Selhurst Park. The 23-year-old Malian international moved to the South London from French side Lens last summer.
Doucoure featured 33 times for Palace in the Premier League, and his tenacity, awareness, and physicality were key throughout this campaign as he provided the much-needed security the defence required.
