Maduka Okoye was in impressive form as Udinese secured a 2-1 win over Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico in the Serie A on Monday night.
The Nigerian goalkeeper was making his 11th consecutive start for the Little Zebras and was on top of his game.
Lorenzo Lucca and Oier Zarraga scored in between Lautaro Giannetti’s own goal, all goals coming in the space of four minutes to hand Udinese their first win since a 1-0 victory away at Juventus on February 12, a game Okoye also starred in.
The former Watford shot stopper made six brilliant saves against Lazio of which five were inside the penalty box. He punched the ball once made 11 successful passes and played two successful long balls.

Even though Udinese were down to 10 men after Nehuen Perez received a second yellow card, Okoye was able to withstand late Lazio pressure as seven minutes of added time extended to 13 minutes.
Across his 11 straight starts, Okoye has averaged 3.2 saves per game and has kept three clean sheets, all of which has helped Udinese move up to 13th place, three points clear of the relegation zone.
