Ethan Nwaneri has joined French club Olympique Marseille on loan from Arsenal for the rest of the season, Afrosport reports.
The 18-year-old England midfielder of Nigerian heritage has featured just 12 times for the Gunners in all competitions this season, starting four games in cup competitions and none in the Premier League.
This is in contrast to last season when he played 37 times in all competitions, scoring nine goals and providing two assists.
Nwaneri has however found game time hard to come by following the summer singings of Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze from Chelsea and Crystal Palace respectively.
He has also faced stiff competition from Bukayo Saka and captain Martin Odegaard after filling up for the duo during their injury spells last term.
Marseille are currently third in Ligue 1 – eight points behindย leaders RC Lens and are 19th in the Champions League league phase.
