Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has expressed his willingness to join any club including in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) after his departure from Chippa United, Afrosport reports.
Nwabali parted ways with the South African club last week after nearly four seasons and is currently a free agent.
Speaking on Sports Night Amplified with Andile Ncube, Nwabali said about his next destination: “There is no contract in front, there is no club in front and I am not guaranteeing you that a club will come today or tomorrow.
“I am not desperate to get a club, but whatever club that comes, if it suits my agent and it suits me, I am going to play.
“I’m ready to play anywhere. No restrictions for me, I’m open to any club, be it local or international.”
The 29-year-old added: “There are no calls yet. The only calls are from my family and friends and people that are shocked at the news.”
Before joining Chippa United, Nwabali played for NPFL sides Go Round FC, Enyimba, Wikki Tourist, Lobi Stars and Katsina United.
According to ESPN, Kaizer Chiefs have bee muted to be interested in Nwabali. Across the African continent, he has been linked with Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca.
He has also been linked with EFL Championship side Queens Park Rangers and Saudi Pro League side Al-Ettifaq.
