Remo Stars striker, Sikiru Alimi, has penned a heartfelt message of appreciation to those who supported and encouraged him and his team, all through the just-concluded Nigeria Premier Football League, (NPFL) season.
The former Stade Tunisien striker also looks forward to doing more in the coming season.
The former Shooting Stars and Sunshine Stars player reflected on his mixed feelings during the season on his official X handle.
“Great season with lots of Memories. The Struggles, the pains, the sweats, the victories were all worth it,” he said in the post.
“Thank you to those who genuinely supported, inspired and encouraged me. Hoping to get more of it come next season and hopefully awaiting the great things the future holds.”

Alimi has one year left on his contract with Remo Stars, but he is believed to be wanted by clubs outside Nigeria. However, the financial appeal of CAF Champions League qualification next season might be enough to keep him in Ikenne.
He scored 15 goals during the 2023-24 season and was only inferior to eventual top-scorer, Chijoke Mbaoma of Enyimba who netted 17 times.
