NPFL: Remo Stars adopt MKO Abiola Sports Arena as temporary home ground

NPFL Playoffs: Who are the favourites to be crowned champions?

Remo Stars have announced that the MKO Abiola Sports Arena in Abeokuta will serve as their temporary home ground for the 2025-26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, Afrosport reports.

The Sky Blue Stars are relocating due to ongoing renovations at their original home ground, the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne ahead of the new campaign.

In addition, the club is currently seeking approval from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to host their CAF Champions League home fixtures in Ikenne once renovations are complete.

Remo Stars, led by head coach Daniel Ogunmodede, will begin their CAF Champions League journey next month with a clash against US Zilimadjou of Comoros in the preliminary round.

The Ikenne-based club made history last season by winning their first-ever NPFL title, following back-to-back second-place finishes in the two previous campaigns.

They will kick off their title defence against Rivers United on Friday in Abeokuta.
